What time is LSU at Auburn on October 24?

11:00 a.m. Central on ABC/ESPN. An early kick means you are on the road before dawn if you are driving in that morning, which is why the Friday night is the one to book.

Do your homes have a two-night minimum on game weekends?

Most do, Friday and Saturday. On a marquee weekend a Saturday-only booking leaves a Friday nobody can fill, so the minimum protects the home. Ask if you truly need one night; we will tell you straight.

Correct. Ole Miss hosts Missouri on October 17 and Auburn on October 31, so the Oxford Square is a normal Saturday on October 24. A State fan who cannot find a bed in Starkville can base in Oxford, about ninety minutes away, and drive in.

Oct 24: Oklahoma at MSU, LSU at Auburn — Where to Stay

Saturday, October 24, 2026 puts Oklahoma in Starkville and LSU in Auburn on the same afternoon, and it is the last Saturday this season where two of our college towns sell out at once. Oklahoma is the second-hardest Starkville ticket after Alabama. LSU at Auburn is a top-two Jordan-Hare date in any year and this one kicks at 11 a.m. Central. Half of our Starkville homes and most of Auburn were already claimed by the end of August, eight weeks out. Here is the honest state of both towns and what was still open when we checked on September 14.

Starkville: Oklahoma at Davis Wade

Starkville is a town of about 25,000 that hosts 60,000 on a football Saturday. Every one of those people who is not driving home that night needs a bed, and the hotel inventory near campus is a rounding error against that number. Oklahoma is the kind of opponent that brings its own fan base across three states, which is why this weekend fills faster than the Missouri or Vanderbilt dates on either side of it.

A 6 p.m. start means the Cotton District is full until midnight and Highway 12 is a parking lot afterward, and a home you can walk or Uber back to earns its keep.

The Camellia Estate — sleeps 12, four bedrooms. Two families or the extended tailgate.
Bulldog Beauty Stadium View — sleeps 13, three bedrooms, and the name is not a metaphor.
Maroon and Oak 1878 — sleeps 10, three bedrooms. New to us this fall.
The Cowbell Cottage — sleeps 8, three bedrooms.
Luxe Retreat, Tranquil Nest and Serenity Haven — each sleeps 7 in three bedrooms, all three in the same neighborhood. A group of twenty can take all three and walk between them.

Already booked: The One Nine Seven, The Bully Bliss and Southern Elk Lodge. That is three of eleven gone eight weeks out, and the small homes went first, which tells you couples and parents book earlier than the big groups do.

Auburn: LSU at Jordan-Hare, 11 a.m.

Auburn has sold out 22 straight home games, and LSU is the game the town circles. The 11:00 a.m. Central kick on ABC/ESPN changes the math: Toomer's Corner is full by 7 a.m., the Tiger Walk is mid-morning, and anyone driving in from Birmingham, Atlanta or Baton Rouge that morning is leaving in the dark. The night to book is Friday, and most of our Auburn homes already are.

Still open in Auburn, checked September 14, 2026:

The Tiger Terrace — sleeps 4, one bedroom with a king and a queen sleeper, ground floor. The couples-and-parents option, and the last one.

Already booked: Tiger Den and Eagle's Landing, which also takes the combined 16-sleeper off the table. If you need a crew-sized house in Auburn for LSU, you are looking at a cancellation, and we will put you on the list.

Plan B: base in Oxford

Ole Miss is not home on October 24. Missouri visits on October 17 and Auburn on October 31, so the Square is a normal Saturday and our Oxford home is not carrying a game-weekend rate. Starkville is about ninety minutes from Oxford by Highway 6 and Highway 25.
