Two kings, no stairs, and a walk to campus. MSU History is the ground-floor condo at Five Points — you park, step through your own covered patio door, and you're in. No staircase with the coolers, no hauling luggage up a flight, nobody's grandmother negotiating a stairwell on a Saturday morning. Three bedrooms, three and a half baths, 1,612 square feet, and a bunk room with two twin-over-full bunks that swallows the entire kids' half of the party. Out the patio door: two Big Green Eggs, fire pits under string lights, and pickleball. Three parking spaces come with it.
🏠 ABOUT THIS SPACE
The patio is the whole argument for this unit. It's covered, it's at grade, and it opens off the living room straight onto the Five Points lawn — so the courtyard is functionally your front yard. Twenty steps away: a stone grilling station with two Big Green Eggs and real prep space, dining tables under string lights, a stacked-stone fire pit ringed with Adirondack chairs, and pickleball and basketball courts past the green.
Inside, the living room is built around a walnut vertical-slat feature wall with a big Smart TV mounted on it — a deep sofa and two swivel chairs on a wool rug, a round wood coffee table in the middle, and a wall of windows behind you. It opens straight into the kitchen, where six stools line the peninsula, so whoever's cooking is still in the conversation.
The kitchen is quartz counters, white shaker cabinets, GE stainless throughout, and a black gooseneck faucet over the island sink. We stock it the way we'd want it: drip coffee AND a Keurig with a syrup rail, a waffle maker, canisters of popcorn and cocoa, a knife block, real cutting boards, and a full cocktail kit — shaker, jigger, strainers, and a copy of The Art of Mixology, in case somebody gets ambitious around halftime.
🐶 THE MSU HISTORY PART
The name isn't decoration. There's a maroon accent wall with the State script on it, framed vintage Mississippi State prints in the bedrooms and baths, State and Mississippi State pillows on the beds, and — our favorite thing in the condo — an oval-framed portrait of a bulldog in a three-piece suit reading the morning paper, hung in the half bath. Guests find it about ten minutes in. It has never once failed to get a photo.
🛏 THE BEDROOMS — SLEEPS 10
Primary suite (sleeps 2): king bed, ceiling fan, wall-mounted TV, and the best bathroom in the unit — double vanity with framed mirrors, a big walk-in tiled shower with a penny-tile floor and a built-in niche, a private water closet, and a walk-in closet.
Second king suite (sleeps 2): a second true king with its own ensuite bath and a tub-shower, ceiling fan, and TV. Two full king suites is the rare part — most condos this close to campus give you one good room and then ask somebody to take a queen.
Bunk room (sleeps 6): two twin-over-full bunks in dark wood, so four adults and two kids all get a real mattress instead of an air bed. Ceiling fan, its own TV, and a full bath with a tub a few steps away.
Two of the three full bathrooms have tubs, which matters more than you'd think when there are small kids in the group. Plus a half bath off the hall so the mornings aren't a queue, and a washer and dryer in the unit.
Hair dryer, iron, extra pillows and blankets, hangers, drying rack, and a Pack 'n Play are all here.
👥 WHO THIS HOME IS BEST FOR
🏈 Game-day crews (8–10): one address instead of two rentals — grill in the courtyard, fire pit after, and a walk to Davis Wade instead of a parking hunt.
👨👩👧👦 Two families travelling together: two king suites means two sets of parents get a real bed and a real bathroom, and every kid fits in the bunk room.
♿ Anyone who can't do stairs: step-free entry off the patio, nothing to climb, no elevator to wait on.
🎓 MSU families: move-in weekend, parents weekend, graduation, or a campus visit with everybody under one roof and a real kitchen.
⚾ Dudy Noble weekends: the best ballpark in college baseball is a half mile away — walk over, walk back.
💻 Extended stays: fast WiFi, laundry in the unit, a full kitchen, and quiet weekdays make a work week here easy.
🔑 GUEST ACCESS
